The launch event, which unveiled the company's new name, brand identity, and vision, took place on Wednesday, November 12, at the HELEXPO exhibition center. It was attended by representatives from the political, business, institutional, and energy sectors, as well as partners and executives of HELLENiQ ENERGY.
Driven by a vision to deliver innovative and sustainable energy solutions, Enerwave, now a full member of one of Southeastern Europe’s largest and fastest-growing energy groups, aims to establish itself as a leading player in electricity and natural gas generation and supply.
During the event, Mr. Giorgos Alexopoulos, Deputy CEO of HELLENiQ ENERGY and Group Strategic Planning and New Activities General Manager, outlined how Enerwave will leverage its existing power generation assets and strong market position. He also emphasized that the company will now fully capitalize on HELLENiQ ENERGY’s investments in Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Storage, as well as other Group activities currently operating independently.
Mr. Giorgos Michos, the newly appointed CEO of Enerwave noted that the multiple synergies with EKO and other Group subsidiaries will further enhance Enerwaves’s market presence and accessibility. These collaborations, he stressed, will strengthen the company’s ability to provide consumers with integrated energy solutions that fully meet their evolving needs.
During the event, there was an extensive presentation on ELPEDISON’s progress to date, as well as on HELLENiQ ENERGY’s strategy for its transformation into a fully integrated energy Group in the electricity and natural gas sectors through its subsidiaries. Special reference was made to the company’s growth trajectory in recent years and to the particularly positive results from the implementation of the Vision 2025 transformation plan, which have led to improved performance both in the market and for shareholders.
