The Empowering Future Leaders program is ideal for individuals with a strong academic foundation and the mindset to grow within a collaborative and international business environment.

The Program is built around four professional journeys:

Technical (Engineering)

From Refining to Domestic and International Marketing, you’ll explore the entire energy sector’s value chain. You’ll acquire hands-on experience through meaningful involvement in projects while working with experienced industry professionals and developing a broad understanding through diverse roles across the Group.

Commercial

Through roles in Group’s commercial companies (Sales, Marketing, Network Development, and Market Analysis), you’ll deepen your understanding of the Group’s commercial strategy. You’ll contribute to initiatives that shape the energy market and build skills in trend analysis and customer insights.

Digital Transformation

As part of the Group’s digital core, you’ll contribute to automation projects, systems implementation, and digital transformation initiatives. helping modernize operations and drive technological progress across the Group.

Corporate

You’ll gain a broad view of how the Group operates by working in one or more corporate functions, such as Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, and Corporate Affairs. Through strategic projects, you’ll develop skills and experience that support critical business needs.

FAQs

To apply you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a higher education institution in Greece or abroad, in a field related to engineering or economic sciences. A master’s degree will serve as a competitive advantage.
  • Up to 2 years of work experience relevant to the field of study, following the completion of undergraduate studies.
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek, combined with full professional proficiency in English at C2 level.
  • Flexibility to relocate to different company locations, both in Greece and abroad.
  • Completed military obligations or legal exemption (where applicable)
  • For candidates opting for the Engineering Journey, registration with the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) is required by the application deadline.

The evaluation is based on the following steps:

  1. Expression of Interest Form
    Visit the platform futureleaders.helleniqenergy.gr (available only in Greek), fill out the form, upload your CV and select your preferred direction.
     
  2. Online Assessment
    Show us your mindset and skills.
     
  3. Assessment Center
    Join a comprehensive, demanding and dynamic assessment center, where you will showcase your skills through activities, presentations and simulation of real-life business scenarios
     
  4. Interview with the HR team
    Talk to us about your studies, your career aspirations and discover the opportunities within the Group.

Throughout the process, your performance will be assessed based on clear criteria and objectives.

Applications are submitted exclusively through the dedicated platform, together with your CV. Once you complete all the required fields, you will receive a confirmation email that your application has been successfully submitted.

You will receive email updates thought the progress of your application and in case you do not proceed to the next stage.

The role is on-site at Group's facilities (Industrial installations or Headquarters), depending on the area of employment.

The Program has a total duration of two years, divided into three stages – one lasting a year and two lasting six months each. This structure helps you gain a well-rounded view and develop skills across various business areas, with an evaluation at the end of each stage.

During the Program, you will take part in demanding and complex projects, designed in collaboration with business units. The projects are linked to different professional journeys (Engineering, Commercial, Digital, Corporate Functions) and are assessed against clear KPIs defined from the start. They give you the opportunity to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and the ability to manage real business challenges.
